Concrete Canvas® (CC) products offer a fast, flexible and efficient installation for Culvert Lining when compared with traditional methods such as bitumen coatings, sprayed concrete or precast sections. With CC products contractors benefit from significant technical and financial advantages, particularly where site access is restricted.
Traditional solutions such as sprayed bitumen and concrete are becoming increasingly prohibited by environmental agencies due to their adverse effects of local ecologies. CC’s low alkaline reserve, washout rate and embodied carbon mean it can be safely installed in live water courses without adverse effects.

Concrete Canvas® (CC) is part of a revolutionary new class of construction materials called Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mats (GCCMs). It is a flexible, concrete filled geosynthetic which hardens on hydration to form a thin, durable, waterproof and lower carbon alternative to conventional concrete. Essentially, it’s Concrete on a Roll™.
Concrete Canvas® is unrolled into position and secured in place. The material is then hydrated. There is a 2-hour working window before setting begins, and in 24 hours the material hardens to service performance specifications.
